“It caught 340 miles my spreadsheet had in the wrong state.”
“My accountant gets the packet and doesn't call me with questions.”
We ran two trucks first.
It started as a spreadsheet for one man's own authority, because the quarter kept eating the only weekend he had at home. Then the yard asked for a copy.

Do I still have to file it myself?
You do — or your accountant does. IFTABuddy prepares the return and shows you exactly what to type where, but the filing is submitted in your name through your base jurisdiction's portal. That's deliberate: it keeps you the filer of record and keeps your credentials yours.
What if my ELD export is a mess?
Most of them are. Upload it anyway. We read the common formats and, when a column isn't where we expect, we ask you one plain question about it instead of failing. If it's genuinely unreadable, email it to us and we'll add support for it — usually within a day.
I keep paper trip sheets. Can I still use this?
Yes. Photograph them with your phone and we'll read the odometer readings and state lines off them. It's slower than an ELD export but it works, and it's still faster than adding it up yourself.
What happens if I get audited?
You download the audit packet: every mile and gallon in your return, traced to the log row or receipt it came from, with the rate and effective date we applied. We keep it for four years. If an auditor questions our arithmetic, call us and we'll get on the phone with them.
Is my data safe, and who can see it?
Encrypted in transit and at rest, and nobody sees it unless you share it. Sharing with an accountant is a read-only link you can switch off at any moment. We never sell data and we don't send your information to brokers or insurers.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account page, in two taps — no phone call. Cancel within thirty days of your first payment and we refund it in full. Your records stay downloadable for ninety days after you go.
