Questions about the money
What counts as a truck?
Each power unit on your account. Trailers are free. A truck you retire stops being billed from the next month.
How does the free first return work?
Your first return is free for one truck. It is used when you file your first return, and no card is needed to start. With more trucks than that, your first return is paid. A no-operation return does not use it up.
What happens when I add another truck?
Truck 6 and every one after it is $4 a month, from the day you add it. Your first 5 stay at $5. Nothing to click and no new plan to pick.
How does yearly billing work?
You pay for 10 months and file for twelve. 4 trucks comes to $200 for the year instead of $240.
Do you charge per filing, or per state?
No. There is no per-filing or per-state charge. The per-truck price is the only number on the invoice.
Can I get a refund?
Within 30 days of your first payment, contact us at support@iftabuddy.com. A person reviews your request and, if it is approved, refunds the payment by hand.
What if a number looks wrong?
Every figure on your return is totalled from the trips and fuel purchases you entered, and the audit report lists them. Email us and we will go through it with you.
